Daisy Ridley just inspired us all with her latest Instagram post. She downloaded an image from Snapchat with the words, "I woke up like this #nofilter #nomakeup," written across the top. She looks amazing, but that's not the most interesting part of her post. The Hollywood star, who plays Rey in The Star Wars: The Force Awakens , made a great point in the caption.

"Three of these statements aren't true," Ridley explained referring to the words written over the image. If you take a closer look at the image Ridley uploaded, you will see that she's wearing eyeliner and there's a warm filter over the picture. "Social media is great, but also a bit scary cause what people post is the most filtered, most carefully chosen, and cleverly edited moments of their lives." The 24-year-old's honesty continued, "My skin isn't great so I don't post no make up selfies, much as I'd like to."

She also confessed that when you see shots of her working out on social media that's only a small part of the process. "I have a trainer urging me on in workouts and don't include all the times I say 'I can't do it.'" Ridley went on to explain, "I try to think good thoughts always and am surrounded by the most wonderful people, so I'm keeping it balanced (like the Force, obvs)."

It's so refreshing to hear the actress speak about reality, proving that she's just like us. She's not the only celebrity who is keeping things real. Other stars like Cameron Diaz and Demi Lovato have also opened up on social media about the perception of beauty. We definitely can't wait to see who else joins the positive movement.
