Chrissy Teigen is the latest celebrity to update her hair for the summer. This time the star ditched her usually waist-length extensions for a chic trend-setting cut.
Teigen gave us a sneak peek at the updated look on Snapchat a few days ago while saying, "Bye bye weave," in a short video. From a first glance, it looked like the 30-year-old was back to wearing her lob (long bob), but her hairstylist Jen Atkin explained that updated look is quite different. Atkin gave us a better glimpse at the fresh haircut with a profile shot on Instagram . The image shows how it looks from the side, and it actually has an edgy A-line trim. One of the fans in the comments declared, "It's business in the back, party in the front." But the celebrity hairstylist, who has worked with stars like Bella Hadid and Kelly Rowland, calls it the "don't cut the front haircut." And Atkin's caption included the perfect hashtag #NotALob.
Teigen's makeover didn't stop with Atkin's asymmetric cut. The new mother to Luna Simone Stephens had an entire glam squad to help complete the transformation. The owner of MéCHE salon Tracey Cunningham updated Teigen's blonde highlights throughout her brunette strands. And Teigen didn't stay away from the weave for too long. Celebrity hair extension specialist Priscilla Valles added a few extra pieces to complete the edgy cut.
This isn't the first time that Teigen has rocked shorter strands. Back in 2014 she chopped off her wavy locks into a shoulder-grazing style. Long or short hair we don't care. Teigen is stunning no matter what length she cooses.
